Markus is a double bass and electric bass player born in Hamburg (Germany), who since 2004 lives in Malaga (Spain). His passion for music began at the age of seven with the piano, but it was at eighteen when he found his true vocation in the electric bass and double bass, exploring his versatility in various genres such as jazz, soul, blues, latin, fusion, pop, rock and musicals.
Before moving to Malaga, he worked as a professional musician in Germany, and since then has participated in numerous national and international festivals, collaborating with renowned artists and leaving his mark on every stage with his unique and dynamic style.
In addition to his career as a performer, Markus is a committed educator
, with more than twenty years of teaching experience.
He teaches electric bass, double bass, ensemble and music theory, both in schools and privately, offering a personalized approach to students of all levels.
